A corporate training LMS for onboarding, compliance and skills
Ilmoria gives HR and L&D teams one employee training platform for every business unit. New hires are enrolled in the right courses as soon as they join their team, compliance quizzes are monitored for integrity, and certificates carry a QR code anyone can check. Employees learn in English or Arabic, on any device.
What gets in the way today
Onboarding that depends on who is in charge
Each team onboards differently, deadlines slip, and nobody can say which new hires have finished their training.
Compliance needs proof
Completing a course is not enough. You need scores, dates and certificates that stand up when someone asks for evidence.
A workforce that reads two languages
Teams across the region work in Arabic, English or both. Training that only works well in one language leaves people behind.
Several business units, one platform
Subsidiaries and divisions want their own branding and their own data, while group L&D needs one view across all of them.
How Ilmoria handles it
- Onboarding that starts automatically
- Set up each department or team as a section. Employees added to it are enrolled in all of its courses automatically, with a start date and a target completion date. Build the content once in the course builder with slides, video, files and quick checks.
- Compliance quizzes with evidence
- Use multiple choice, true/false, ordering and short-answer questions with time limits, attempt limits and randomised order in assessments. Each attempt gets an integrity score from browser events, and suspicious attempts are flagged for a trainer to review.
- Certificates anyone can verify
- When an employee completes a course, issue a branded certificate PDF with a serial number and a QR code. Scanning the code opens a public verification page, so a client or auditor can confirm the certificate is genuine.
- Managers see progress by team
- Managers and trainers follow each employee’s progress, scores and late or missing work, team by team. Group L&D gets reporting across every business unit, while each unit keeps its own branding, users and data.

Questions buyers ask
Ilmoria started in schools. How does it fit a company?
The structure maps directly. Each business unit or subsidiary runs as its own “school” with its own branding, users and data. Departments and teams are set up as “sections”, and each training programme is a course. Administrators, managers or trainers, and employees each get the access their role needs, and group L&D still sees reporting across every unit.
Does Ilmoria integrate with our HR system?
Not through a ready-made connector. Most companies export employees from their HR system as a CSV file and import them into Ilmoria. On enterprise plans, the REST API and webhooks let your IT team or a partner keep users in sync. Employees can sign in with Google or Microsoft, and SAML single sign-on is available on enterprise plans.
Can we upload our existing SCORM courses?
Not yet. SCORM and xAPI support is on the roadmap. Today, teams rebuild courses in the course builder, where they upload videos, PDFs and other files directly and add slides, quizzes and interactive checks around them. Training that is mostly video and documents can usually be set up again without rewriting the content itself.
How do clients or auditors verify a certificate?
They scan the QR code on the certificate. Each certificate is a branded PDF with its own serial number, and the QR code opens a public page that confirms the certificate’s details. Nobody needs an Ilmoria account to check it, which makes verification practical for clients, partners and auditors.
Can employees train on their phones?
Yes. Ilmoria works in any modern browser on phones, tablets and computers, and employees can add it to their home screen as an installable web app. Lessons, quizzes and certificates work on every device, so field and office staff get the same training. Native iOS and Android apps are on the roadmap.
Can we run live training sessions?
Yes. Trainers schedule live sessions for a team or a wider group with a Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams link. Employees see upcoming sessions in their weekly timetable, and trainers can export their own schedules. Live sessions and self-paced courses sit side by side in the same platform.
