An LMS for universities and colleges, from first lecture to final transcript

Ilmoria gives faculty the tools to teach and assess, and gives deans and registrars records they can stand behind. Run courses and sections across campuses, hold exams with integrity monitoring, and issue transcripts with GPA and credits. Every screen works in English and Arabic.

What gets in the way today

Assessments that hold up online

More quizzes and exams now happen outside the exam hall. Faculty need a way to spot suspicious attempts without accusing students on guesswork.

Grades that become official records

Final grades feed GPA, credits and transcripts. Changes need a reason, approvals need a trail, and published records must not shift afterwards.

Many campuses, one academic standard

Colleges and campuses want their own identity, while leadership wants shared standards and a single view of results.

Programmes taught in two languages

Many programmes teach in English while students and staff work in Arabic, or the other way round. The platform has to handle both properly.

How Ilmoria handles it

Courses and sections that match your catalogue
Set up levels for programmes or study years, then courses with versions, units and lessons, and a section for each cohort. Faculty build lessons in the course builder with an equation editor and LaTeX, science notation and a graphing calculator, and attach course books that students can highlight and annotate.
Exams and discussions that hold up
Run quizzes and exams with time limits, randomised questions and ten question types in assessments. Each attempt gets an integrity score from browser events, suspicious attempts are flagged for review, and final exam grades pass an approval step before students see them. Graded discussions run in phases, with required, optionally anonymous peer reviews and a rubric.
Final grades, credits and transcripts
The gradebook turns coursework into final letter grades that faculty confirm. Administrators can override a grade with a recorded reason and lock results. Transcripts with GPA and credits follow an approval workflow and are issued as locked PDFs, and certificates carry a QR code anyone can verify.
Every campus under one account
With multi-campus management, each college or campus gets its own branding, web address, users and isolated data, while leadership sees reporting across all of them. Staff and students sign in with Google or Microsoft, and SAML single sign-on is available on enterprise plans.

Questions buyers ask

Does Ilmoria calculate GPA and credits?

Yes. Transcripts are generated from final course grades and include GPA and credits. Each transcript goes through an approval workflow before it is issued as a locked official PDF. Final grades use letter grades from A+ to F, plus Incomplete and Withdrawn, and can be locked once confirmed.

How does exam integrity monitoring work?

Each quiz or exam attempt receives an integrity score based on browser events, such as a student leaving the exam tab. Attempts that look suspicious are flagged for the instructor to review. The score is evidence for a human decision, not an automatic penalty, so faculty stay in control of the outcome.

Does Ilmoria support LTI?

Not yet. LTI 1.3 is on the roadmap. Today Ilmoria connects through Google and Microsoft sign-in, CSV import and export of users, courses and grades, and, on enterprise plans, SAML single sign-on and a REST API with webhooks. Live classes use your existing Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams links.

Can each college or campus have its own branding?

Yes. Each college or campus can run as its own site with its own logo, colours, web address or subdomain, users and data. Data stays separate between them, and authorised central staff can see reporting across all campuses from one account. Each college keeps its own identity while working to shared standards.

Does Ilmoria replace our student information system?

It depends on what your SIS does today. Ilmoria covers admissions, enrolment, final grades, transcripts and invoices, which is enough for many colleges. Universities with an established SIS usually keep it as the system of record and exchange data with Ilmoria through CSV files, or through the REST API and webhooks on enterprise plans.

Can faculty teach maths and science courses?

Yes. Lessons support an equation editor with LaTeX, science notation and a graphing calculator. Quizzes include numeric and file upload questions for worked solutions. If your institution turns on AI assistance, faculty and students can also turn a photo of a handwritten equation into LaTeX.
